Wedding Blogs

Alltop - home of the awesome list of diverse Travel blogs has just come out with their choices for Wedding blogs. They've picked up on some of my favorites like WeddingBee, Offbeat Bride and Weddex, as well as some I've just discovered, like Tales of a Female Husband and the Groom's Blog.

Some of the blogs are definitely more enjoyable than others, but they all seem to be updated on a regular basis. If you can't get enough of weddings, Alltop will help you get your fix.

Share photo albums with your wedding guests

When you return from your honeymoon, pretty much everybody who was at your wedding will want to see your pictures, of course. But with an average of about 170 guests at a wedding, that's a lot of email addresses to type into whatever website you use for your online photo albums.

We released a new feature today that'll help--a special version of our e-postcards, where you can place a link to the photo album on the card, and select recipients from the people who've bought gifts from your registry and/or you've send an e-postcard to before. We even automatically weed out duplicates, so you don't accidentally send it to the same people 2 or 3 times :-)

Log in to your registry, and click the link that says "Share a photo album with your guests".

Weddings at Funeral Homes?

Nope, this isn't someone trying to one-up the couple who plan on getting hitched in a cemetary - this is a traditional Taoist Chinese ceremony that marries spirits - or, sometimes, a live person with a dead one, so that the spirit does not wander.

I think the weddings of people who are alive are probably a little more cheerful...

Nuptial No-No's - Give your guests a better time!

Elisa Gonzalez Clark over at the San Francisco Chronicle has a few insights on what, as a guest, she'd like to see (or avoid) at this year's celebrations of love.

Among my favorites? No "caking" the bride (*shudder*) or asking for cash when you've just spent 15 K on your wedding.
